January and February 0f 2011

Started off 2011 with trip to Cambodia - Siem Reap with colleagues and Steph in January. Nice place nice people. Get to know the history of the place...get to see the people there...really an eye opener to me. When we decided to go Cambodia, initially we planned few of us go and backpack around the place..but after some time, more and more colleagues joined in and total up there are 21 of us. In the end we engage a tour guide and a bus. I kinda like the place - third world country ..one day, when time allows we will backpack for 2 weeks through indochina..Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and Thailand...

Just the day before we went to Genting for agent convention, we took a group photo. It's 2 years since we took our last photo. Some left, some still here. Anyway the most important thing is we know what we do and we love what we do. Thank to Harry Tee for helping us to take this photo. Here are some of them. :)

After the group photo event, straight head up to Genting for our once a year SG Achievers Night. Got myself a trophy for last year's effort. It is quite a good feeling to get recognize for the hard work you have done. I remember one senior said, the trophy we get is not a tool for proud and show off, instead it is a benchmark of what you have to do in the future. It's SG 20th anniversary....special events are coming up this year. Hope i will be able to join them. As usual after Gala dinner we head back down to KL. Pictures below...Up: Award Presentation , Down: Gala Dinner

Before Chinese New Year, me and family manage to went to Genting Highland for a 2days trip. It has been sometime since our last trip together. Just this time Big Sis did not manage to join us. Never mind, year end we will be going someplace together. Some of the photos ---

Next Chinese New Year is coming up. Have reunion dinner at Grandpa's house....some of the menu slightly different but still as tasty as before. Nowadays Chinese New Year is not as fun as when i was kid. Maybe there is no more anticipation for the ang pow or the firecrackers. But i look forward to family reunion as we can sit together and chat together. My dad work overseas, my sister in malacca, mom in seremban, another sister in penang, i myself in Sarawak. So there are not much chances for all of us to be in the house at the same time. Although CNY is not as fun as before, it is getting much and much more meaningful as before. SO this year we tried something different, i booked movie ticket for the whole family and we watched "Tian Tian Hao Tian". Nice and meaningful movie.

Before returns to Sarawak, manage to celebrate Valentines Days with Stephanie...we celebrated it early with a dinner and dessert. We went to pastamania to eat pasta (which is one of my favorite type of food). After that we went to haagen daaz for chocolate fondue. The fondue looks good, but too much for 2 person. And could not enjoy the taste of the ice cream to the fullest as the ball of ice cream is too small...lol..nevermind at least we tried once. Next time will ask for just pure ice cream. :) Got a camera for valentines day , Stephanie got a new wallet for valentines day. Happy Valentines..

So, i went back to Sibu on 14th of February. Starts to work. And what a great way to start a new day ---> Flat tyre ...haha can't get any luckier. Around evening time, when i was out from office to get my car, found out one of the front tyre is flat. So i change it and get going. When i am on the road, it feels like the tyre is flat too. (when i put it on, it is not flat). Thanks Steph Dad come and help me to bring the tyres to repair while Diewkwong came and accompany me at the car. After the tyre is replace, it is as good as new. So take care of the tyre and make sure the spare ones are in good conditions too.

Lastly, the simplest happinest ---- Milo+Creamer Milk+Milk Powder ---and also "SODA" Biscuit
During CNY at granpa's house. Feel hungry around 10pm, so i made myself the drink and biscuit. One of the best moments of 2011.
One of the Best with Myself Moments in 2011

That all for January and February Updates!! :) Happy Chinese New Year and Happy Valentines Day!!!
